The Rally by the Vietnamese
Community in Tacoma, Wa to Support San Francisco
On behalf of the
Vietnamese community in Tacoma, I would like to thank you
for posting our pictures from a rally we held yesterday in support
of the
Vietnamese people in San Francisco. Is there going to be another rally
on
August 2nd, 2003? From what time until what time would this be happening?
Please let me know of this as soon as possible, so that I may be able
to let
the Vietnamese people in Tacoma, and especially my leaders know of
this, so
that we may attend and support.
We are still waiting for the decision of the San Francisco City Council
regarding the recognition of the yellow flag with three red stripes
as the
flag of Vietnam. If things do not go well, we will have another rally.
We
could really use your support, and your group’s support. We will let
you
know of what you can help with, and when the assistance will be needed.
