and Michael Join Forces to Bash Bush

Recently I read how the Walt Disney company. is set to spend millions
financing a new explosive Bush-bashing documentary from Michael Moore
(Bowling for Columbine) — a documentary which claims bin Laden
was greatly enriched by the Bush family! “The primary thrust of the
new film is what has happened to the country since Sept. 11, and how the
Bush administration used this tragic event to push its agenda,” Moore
explains.
After reading this I was outraged.
You will not see the Walt Disney name on this film; Disney is using a
subsidiary, Miramax, to fund it. It will be called Fahrenheit 911,
after Ray Bradbury’s book Fahrenheit 451, a book on how the Government
destroys certain books that it does not want you to read because it may
educate you to what is really happening. Yet this in and of itself shows
how far the liberal mind will go.
To get an idea of how this movie will be made, in regards to fact, let’s
look at the last movie written and directed by Michael Moore, Bowling
for Columbine.
It was full of lies and twisted truths to make a point and fill Moore’s
agenda of the way things should be in his ultra liberal view. Billed as
an anti-gun documentary, Bowling for Columbine was really a vehicle
to display Moore’s anger at what he sees as an inherently violent, racist
and insufficiently liberal American culture. Moore does not blame the
kids that caused the Columbine massacre. He blamed Lockheed for making
Minuteman ICBMs not far from Columbine High School. He blamed Kmart for
selling the ammunition that was used. Then he talked his way into Charlton
Heston’s home and essentially blamed him. He did not blame the actual
perpetrators.
In his so-called documentary, Moore tricked Heston into speculating on
a reason why gun violence is so much greater in America than it is in
Canada. As any criminologist knows, American gun violence is highly concentrated
in young black and Latino men. Violence among the white population is
roughly similar between the two countries. This sad fact is not open to
discussion because it is not politically correct to mention it in polite
society. Ironically, this inability to address the problem may condemn
many more young men to an early death. In the film, one does not come
away with any answers. Moore is just as confused as everyone else. Perhaps
more so because he is locked into a leftist ideology that fails to adequately
explain human behavior.
The events of 9/11 occurred during the filming of Bowling for Columbine.
He posted the following statement on his Web site immediately after the
shocking attacks. “This started out as a documentary on gun violence
in America, but the largest mass murder in our history was just committed
– without the use of a single gun! Not a single bullet fired! … I can’t
stop thinking about this. A thousand gun control laws would not have prevented
this massacre. What am I doing?”
And now he wants to make a movie about 9/11 and the how bin Laden was
greatly enriched by the Bush family, and Walt Disney wants to be a part
of it. If their was any truth in it I would want to know, but other then
in Moore’s mind I have heard nothing in regards to this, not even a whisper.
He is so infuriated by the Iraqi war that he quickly started on his next
film to bash the leader of the free world because he did agree with his
politics.
To stand up and question one’s government is what America is all about.
But to lie and twist truths to serve an agenda when peoples lives have
been lost and are still in harms way is just plain wrong. If “United
We Stand, Divided We Fall” is a true statement, which I believe that
it is, then both Moore and Disney are guilty of promoting divisiveness
in the United States in a time when we need unity to stand against the
terror this world has unleashed on us. I for one am boycotting Disney
and what it has become.
