Giap: Kerry’s Group Helped Hanoi Defeat U.S.
Regarding the idea
of a constitutional amendment about marriage, I’ve thought long and
hard about this issue. I’ve reached the conclusion that it would not
be a good idea. What I do believe is that people like the mayor of San
Francisco need to be prosecuted for breaking the law, just like you
and I would be if we broke a law. I don’t appreciate selective enforcement
of our laws based on politically correct dictates. Here’s what Judge
Moore has to say on the subject:

Q: “Do you support a constitutional amendment
to prohibit gay marriage?”
A: “I certainly understand that something needs to be done to stop
mayors and judges and others who are disregarding the law. But I think
the procedure to correct these problems lies within the Constitution
itself, which doesn’t need to be amended. You cannot correct every moral
deficit created by the courts by constitutional amendment. If we make
a constitutional amendment that says marriage is between a man and a
woman, what stops a court from saying that means a man can marry his
sister, thereby making incest legal? The problem is the courts.”

immigration employee sold $1 million in phony work permits
A
U.S. immigration employee and a Chilean accomplice pleaded guilty Tuesday
to selling at least 110 phony work permits to other illegal immigrants.
Isidro Guerrero Fernandez, 32, and his twice-deported street recruiter,
Miguel Raggio, 50, generated more than $1 million from the scheme, according
to investigators with the Department of Homeland Security inspector
general.

said the cadets’ use of an academy e-mail distribution list to encourage
people to see ‘The Passion of the Christ’ was inappropriate.
. . . He also admonished cadets for displaying fliers for the movie
in the cafeteria, according to the e-mail sent Wednesday. At least one
academy graduate complained to Rosa that the students’ e-mail was insensitive
to cadets who are not Christians, Academy spokesman Johnny Whitaker
said.”

often hear and read, in various contexts, about the “democratic”
party. If people knew what they were talking about, they would say the
Democrat Party as they say the Republican Party. From my perch, I would
say that conservative Republicans are the ones who truly believe in
being democratic as opposed to Democrats who truly want to tell us how
we are to live and what we can and cannot say. So, let’s don’t confuse
democratic with Democrat.

GIAP: KERRY’S GROUP HELPED HANOI DEFEAT U.S.
The
North Vietnamese general in charge of the military campaign that finally
drove the U.S. out of South Vietnam in 1975 credited a group led by
Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry with helping him achieve
victory.
In
his 1985 memoir about the war, Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap wrote that if it
weren’t for organizations like Kerry’s Vietnam Veterans Against the
War, Hanoi would have surrendered to the U.S. – according to Fox News
Channel war historian Oliver North.
That’s
why; he predicted on Tuesday, the Vietnam War issue “is going to
blow up in Kerry’s face.”
“People
are going to remember Gen. Giap saying if it weren’t for these guys
[Kerry’s group], we would have lost,” North told radio host Sean
Hannity.
“The
Vietnam Veterans Against the War encouraged people to desert, encouraged
people to mutiny – some used what they wrote to justify fragging officers,”
noted the former Marine lieutenant colonel, who earned two purple hearts
in Vietnam.
“John
Kerry has blood of American soldiers on his hands,” North said.
