COUNTRY
AMERICA:
We are asking everyone to please
place a candle in a front window of your homes.
(The electrical, light-sensored type works well.) For
our thousands of men and women serving both abroad and at home, let us
show them their home lights are burning, waiting for their return, and how
very much we appreciate all they are doing!
To the world these
lights will also be a reminder of the ONE TRUE LIGHT,
the light of Jesus Christ
that His light will spread
throughout the world.
MILITARY FAMILIES:
Place a red, white and blue ribbon
around your candle to show
the pride you have for your special family member in the Service.
EVERYONE: Begin
to look for these candles. Every time you see one, please do the
following:
a.
PRAY that a mantle of safety be placed over each one of our Service men
and women.
b.
PRAY for the families of our military personnel.
c.
PRAY for our Nation and its
Leaders.
