FORBIDS “DISCRIMINATION”

the one security measure that would have prevented 9-11: subjecting

STILL HATING THE
GIPPER

Remember Rep. Jim McDermott, the Washington Democrat who went to Baghdad
and then came back to tell ABC’s “This Week” that we could
trust Saddam Hussein’s word but not President Bush’s. Yeah, that bozo.
Well, McDermott is also one of just 7 congress-critters who voted against
a House resolution condemning that 9th Circus Court ruling that the
words “under God” in the pledge of allegiance were unconstitutional.
And on Tuesday, he added insult to injury when he deleted the words
“under God” from the pledge as he led its recitation from
the floor of the United States House of Representatives.

Finally, at long last,
the politicians in Washington have taken the handcuffs off the U.S.
Marines in Iraq and are allowing them to do their job, which is to restore
order to Fallujah. It’s about time….after all, if you’re going to
occupy a country and take it over, you must be in control at all times.
You invade the country, and anyone who stands in the way gets killed.
That’s how it works. There is nothing politically correct about war.
So why has the leadership
of the Coalition been acting like a bunch of pantywaists? I’ll tell
you why…because we don’t want to upset the Arab world. We’re afraid
they won’t like us. Here’s a news flash for you: they already hate us
and they’re never going to like us. And here’s another shocker: our
support of Israel is not the only reason. That’s always cited as the
main reason for the hatred of America in the Arab world. But that’s
not exclusively it. What the Islamic terrorists hate about America is
our freedom. We have freedom of religion, something they don’t like
at all. They want every government to be an Islamic state. They don’t
like equal rights for women. They don’t like that we do whatever we
want. Too bad. So since they’re never going to like us, then why do
we care? Beats me.

FINALLY,
SOMEONE EXPLAINED IT SO I CAN UNDERSTAND IT!
Like me, there are a lot of folks who can’t understand how we came to
have
an oil shortage here in America. Well, there’s a very simple answer……Nobody
bothered to check the oil !! Therefore we just didn’t know we were getting
low.
The reason for that is purely geographical.
All our oil is in Alaska, Texas, California, and Oklahoma…… All
our dipsticks are in Washington, DC.

The American Museum of
the Moving Image recently gave a tribute to Dalai Lama follower Richard
Gere. The actor took the occasion to verbally lunge at President Bush.
Referring to the November
election, Gere said, “I think we deserve a regime change.”
In front of a crowd that
included Tim Robbins, Denzel Washington, Kim Cattrall, Liam Neeson,
Laura Linney and Matthew Modine, Gere proclaimed, “One thing I’ve
learned in my life is never to trust anyone who thinks that he exclusively
has God on his side, especially when he’s the president of the
United States.”
The Left Coast Report wonders
if Gere would have trusted George Washington, who said, “In tendering
this homage to the Great Author of every public and private good, I
assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own;
nor of my fellow-citizens at large, less than either. No people can
be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts
affairs of men more than the people of the United States.”
Or Abraham Lincoln, who
acknowledged, “I have been driven many times upon my knees by the
overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go. My own wisdom,
and that of all about me, seemed insufficient for that day.”
Or Grover Cleveland, who
said, “Above all, I know there is a Supreme Being who rules the
affairs of men and whose goodness and mercy have always followed the
American people, and I know He will not turn from us now if we humbly

Or Dwight D. Eisenhower,
who professed, “Without God there could be no American form of
government nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being

FLOCK TO PRO-ABORTION RALLY
In an apparent effort to
widen the gender gap and assist the Kerry campaign, hundreds of thousands
of pro-abortion demonstrators held a rally in Washington, D.C.
Roughly 1,400 organizations
were involved in coordinating the event, and scads of Hollywood celebs
showed up. Attendees included Cybill Shepherd, Ani DiFranco, Ashley
Judd, Lisa Loeb, Salma Hayek, Amy Jo Johnson, Kathleen Turner and Whoopi
Goldberg.
Techno-rocker Moby, Carole
King and the Indigo Girls provided some of the background music.
Whoopi addressed the crowd.
In her hand was the scare symbol of choice – a wire coat hanger. As
she brandished the prop over her head she screamed, “We are one
vote away from going back to this!”
The comic activist continued
the theatrics. “There is a whole generation of people who don’t
know what that is. This is what we used, and never again will this be
the choice of any women in this world.”
Susan Sarandon directed
her rally rage at President Bush. “We reject, Mr. Bush, your hypocrisy.
We reject your vision of the world,” she squawked. “And we
shall vote in this upcoming election and prove it.”
Julianne Moore murmured
that “it’s important for them to realize that these rights
are not a given, that we are going to have to fight for them.”

STIFFS UNION AIR TRAVEL
Paul Bedard of U.S. News & World Report notes in his Washington
Whispers
column that John Kerry’s presidential campaign – you know, the one being
bankrolled by union “soft” money these days – is using a NON-union
campaign jet to transport the candidate here and there. This isn’t
sitting well with Paul Hallisay, political director for the pilots
union, who stated plainly, “We would like to see him flying a union
carrier.” Just another example of the two (or more) faces of John
Kerry.

When Sen. Ted Kennedy was
merely just another Democrat bloviating on Capitol Hill on behalf of
liberal causes, it was perhaps excusable to ignore his deplorable past.
But now that he’s become Sen. John Kerry’s leading campaign attack dog,
positioning himself as Washington’s leading arbiter of truth and integrity,
the days for such indulgence are now over.
It’s time for the GOP to stand up and remind America why Sen. Kerry’s
chief spokesman had to abandon his own presidential bid in 1980 – time
to say the words Mary Jo Kopechne out loud.
As is often the case, Republicans have deluded themselves into thinking
that most Americans already know the story of how this “Conscience
of the Democratic Party” left Miss Kopechne behind to die in the
waters underneath the Edgartown Bridge in July 1969, after a night of
drinking and partying with the young blonde campaign worker.
But most Americans under 40 have never heard that story, or details
of how Kennedy swam to safety, then tried to get his cousin Joe Garghan
to say he was behind the wheel.
Those young voters don’t know how Miss Kopechne, trapped inside Kennedy’s
Oldsmobile, gasped for air until she finally died, while the Democrats’
leading Iraq war critic rushed back to his compound to formulate the
best alibi he could think of.
Neither does Generation X know how Kennedy was thrown out of Harvard
on his ear 15 years earlier – for paying a fellow student to take his
Spanish final.
As they listen to the Democrats’ “Liberal Lion” accuse President
Bush of “telling lie after lie after lie” to get America to
go to war in Iraq, young voters don’t know about that notorious 1991
Easter weekend in Palm Beach, when Uncle Teddy rounded up his nephews
for a night on the town, an evening that ended with one of them credibly
accused of rape.
It’s time for Republicans to state unabashedly that they will no longer
“go along with the gag” when it comes to Uncle Ted’s rants
about deception and moral turpitude inside the Bush White House. And
if the Republicans don’t let’s do it ourselves by passing this forgotten
disgrace around the Internet to wake up memories of what a fraud and
fake Teddy really is.
The Democratic Party, not to mention Sen. John Kerry, should be ashamed
to have the national disgrace from Massachusetts as their spokesman.
And the GOP needs to say so out loud.
