Its not all waste sites and junk vehicles in Lynnwood (see earlier post). We have many residents who care about how their properties and their neighborhoods appear. But it seems there are enough who don’t so that Lynnwood’s image suffers. Perhaps to bring some balance to the previous note and photos, here are views that may demonstrate another side to Lynnwood.

The ugly: Junk and Trash

May 12th, 2008

It wasn’t too many years ago that Mountlake Terrace (a next door neighbor to Lynnwood) had a reputation for being junkie and trashy and, well, not an attractive place overall. Then, the MLT city council initiated a clean up effort. The effort has worked impressively well. Abandoned and junk vehicles and yards that look like solid waste dump sites have largely faded away.

Today, it appears  that Lynnwood is vying for the honor to be junk and trash capitol of Southwest Snohomish County. Just for entertainment value, I am including a number of photos herein depicting Lynnwood Yard Art and Beautiful Places. Enjoy. If you don’t find it enjoyable, perhaps talking to one of your council members would be a good idea.
